Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to learn more about me and my campaign.  My name is Crystal Trull and I am running for San Diego Unified School District Board of Trustees, District A (Clairemont, University City, and Mira Mesa).

I have three children who attend San Diego Unified schools and I am running for school board to change the status quo.

We are at a time in history like none other.  With the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the widening gaps in student achievement, and decades of institutionalized racism I believe that NOW is the time for change

I may not always get it right, but if elected, I am committed to the difficult, oftentimes uncomfortable, work required to change the status quo.  Our future rests on the quality of education provided to our children including black, indigenous, and children of color.

But, I can't do it alone. I'm relying on my community to help and support me not only during the campaign, but also after I'm elected.  So, please take a few minutes to learn more about the issues that not only affect our kids, but the future of tomorrow.  I welcome your feedback and partnership.
